Water bonuses are hard to swallow

Sir, – I noted three headlines in The Irish Times on July 2nd which surprised me. They are as follows:-

(1) 500,000 people across State use ‘at risk’ drinking water,

(2) Water system a major block on growth, Ifac says,

(3) Total bonuses at Uisce Éireann top €13 million.
