View from a primary-school student

Sir, – The Government says it’s a “recommendation”, the schools say it’s a “requirement”, I say it’s a farce (and also very uncomfortable to wear non-stop for six hours).

The introduction of face masks into school is a decision not thought through properly. A decision made with fear. At the end of one school day I forgot my fellow students’ faces. I refused to wear a mask and I felt socially isolated.

Where is the children’s opinion? Who is making these decisions?

Even though we can’t vote, as children, we have a voice.
