Sir, – While listening to the news on RTÉ yesterday morning, an advertisement for Irish Water aired. It advised listeners that as we enter the drier part of the year, we need to be careful as water levels were already low. The news bulletin was followed by the weather forecast, which warned of heavy rain spreading from the west, not an uncommon occurrence in Ireland.
