Specs appeal

A chara, – I enjoyed Róisín Ingle on the perils of getting old ("We feel the same inside, but to the checkout woman we're the old folk", Life, May 18th), but I disagree with the idea that older people are "wielding their reading glasses instead of rocking their Ray-Bans". I am older than Róisín, and my reading glasses are Ray-Bans. Not those Meta ones, I hasten to add. – Is mise,
