Response To Terrorist Attacks

Sir - We, the undersigned composer members of Aosdβna, wish to encourage the Irish government to use its position on the UN Security Council to work towards ending the bombing of Afghanistan.

While we utterly deplore the September 11th assaults on New York and Washington, we feel that the current campaign, with its mounting toll of civilian fatalities, is inherently unjust and as likely to encourage international terrorism as to defeat it. - Yours, etc.,
