Herd immunity

Sir, – It is now clear to me that the Government’s living with Covid policy is, in fact, one of herd immunity, constrained only by the ability of the health sector to cope with the casualties of this policy – collateral damage as it were. When Boris Johnson pursued a similar policy in the UK it was called wicked and immoral.

Here it is not even a subject of public debate.
