Sir, – Dr Mark Murphy (Opinion, February 21st) writes in glowing terms of how our healthcare system now provides for abortions, and how we are the “envy of many healthcare systems”. I wonder how long it will be until a GP writes in such terms about how our health system provides care for all our citizens, in all health circumstances, and not just for those seeking an abortion? Then we could all rejoice in the knowledge that we had a health care service that was, indeed, the envy of many. – Yours, etc,
