Sir, - Inconvenient though it may be, the new evidence renders it imperative that the Dublin and Monaghan bombings now be made the subject of a high-level public inquiry. The relatives have waited long enough.
We may contrast the totally deserved public support given the victims of the Omagh bombing with the meagre support and fobbing-off those involved in the Dublin and Monaghan bombings received.
The Government must open the files and initiate a tribunal of inquiry without further delay. - Yours, etc., Cllr Richard Greene, Chairman, Irish Civil Rights Association,
Roebuck Road, Clonskeagh, Dublin 14.
