Sir, – "I have tried to be true to myself. I have taken that skill I have and tried to make an honest collection." So The Irish Times quotes Roland Mouret, a couturier describing his designer collection at Paris Fashion Week ("Mouret kicks off Paris fashion week in style", March 6th). How is it possible that when someone who designs frocks chooses the colour blue rather than pink, silk rather than chiffon, or a long dress rather than short, he can describe his actions as being "true to himself" or "honest"? What kind of parallel universe do these people occupy? – Yours, etc,
