Sir, – Boris Johnson’s bad language should not be too much of a surprise. After all, in comparing the complexities of the Irish Border to a meander around the boroughs of London, he has effectively said, “F**k Ireland”. The British Foreign Secretary, then, should not be too put out when Ireland, along with its other European friends, eventually says “F**k Boris!”. – Yours, etc,
