Sir, – The latest Bond movie is true to form, if somewhat long, at three hours. I loved the Italian locations. But one thing really irked me. Why, in this day and age, does the Bond villain still need to have a facial disfigurement? In this case it’s Oscar winner Rami Malek, who I’m quite sure is perfectly capable of portraying malice without the need for heavy disfigurement make-up. I find it discriminatory against all the decent, normal people who are living with facial disfigurement. It really is so unnecessary and a tradition that should be put to bed for good. – Yours, etc,
