Sir, - The sad reality about Jackie Healy-Rae's views on asylum-seekers is that he is obviously speaking for his voters. If he is not speaking for his voters, he is effectively saying he does not want to sit in the Dail in the next election. Jackie Healy-Rae and Ivor Calleley have their fingers well on the pulse of their constituents and will not make a stand that will lose them votes.
