Sir, – While there is considerable merit in your editorial concerning the uncertainty which Brexit has provoked about protecting Irish and European identity under the Belfast Agreement ("Questions of identity", April 8th), it is not accurate to state that the pro-Remain majority in Northern Ireland "in effect has no voice at Westminster".
Lady Sylvia Hermon MP has been a lone and courageous voice in the House of Commons for that majority and indeed for all those concerned about the impact of Brexit on the Border and the sustaining of peace on the island of Ireland.
It would be good to see her get the recognition she deserves. – Yours, etc,
