A Citizens’ Assembly for education?

Sir, – They say that education is the battleground for the future that we want to see. Isn’t it time we had a Citizens’ Assembly, a national conversation of sorts, to think about and plan the future of education – cradle to grave – in Ireland?

I’m not sure we can wait any longer. Too much is at stake and we are already lagging behind. – Yours, etc,
