A chara, – The Department of Health has long been known as a very difficult ministry to operate. How interesting, then, that if Simon Harris does become taoiseach on April 9th, he will be the fourth of the past five taoisigh to have served as minister for health on his rise to the top.
This says something about both the Department of Health and the office of taoiseach. What exactly that is I am happy to throw open to the readership, as I have no idea in God’s wide world what it is myself. – Yours, etc,
