A chara, – The high numbers of deers that are negatively affecting biodiversity, damaging agricultural crops and causing road safety issues, are not the problem. The problem is the absence of a natural predator that would limit deer populations.
However, if the reintroduction of wolves solved the deer problem, it would result in a wolf problem.
The wolf problem could then be solved by reintroducing the Irish bear.
The problem would then be to agree on the number of bears to be culled or agree a date when humans hand the island back to nature. This is when a referendum on Bear-exit takes place. – Is mise,
