Sir, – I note that what was formerly “Glanbia” has now become “Tirlán”. Where do these strange words originate? Are they supposed to be Irish? If so, the English equivalent of “Glanbia” would be “Foodclean”. A strange word, indeed. The origin of “Tirlán’ defeats me, however. Can anyone resolve the mystery? – Yours, etc,
