Sir, – In a lovely piece about the wonderful Mount Congreve Gardens in Saturday’s paper, Fionnuala Fallon credits its refurbishment to Waterford County Council (“Mount Congreve reopens after €6 million investment”, March 1st). That body ceased to exist in 2014 on its amalgamation with Waterford City.
The work was done by Waterford City and County Council. – Yours, etc,
