Sir, – Anne Harris (“From Michelle O’Neill to Marilyn Monroe, blondes have more power”, Opinion & Analysis, October 12th) has perpetuated the misconceptions and stigmas surrounding female politicians around the world.
Reducing the power of women in politics to their hair colour is a school of thought that is a sad throwback to the 1950s.
