Sir, – In order to complete a property transaction, I was advised that I would need to produce my marriage certificate. On June 14th, I applied online and was advised that, “If the record is found a certificate will be issued within 60 working days.” No further communication since then. With some trepidation I arrived in the office at 2pm and was back on the street at 2.10pm with my certificate in my hand.
I might add that the staff were not only efficient but helpful and courteous.
And we are told the future is online! – Yours, etc,
TIM McCARTHY,
