Belgrade - The Yugoslav government decided yesterday to restore diplomatic relations with the US and three other Western countries cut off by Belgrade during last year's NATO air war, Tanjug news agency said. The government, formed after last month's ousting of former Yugoslav president, Mr Slobodan Milosevic, in a popular uprising, decided to re-establish ties with the US, Britain, Germany and France.

It was not immediately clear whether the move, which had been expected, needed parliamentary approval.
