A youth appeared before Dublin District Court yesterday charged in connection with a car hijacking on St Patrick's Day.
The youth was arrested following a series of incidents on Friday. Gardai arrested him in a stolen car but the youth tried to flee and attempted to hijack another vehicle.
He was remanded in custody.
