Ms Theresa da Silva Roy (20), from Santa Cruz, Venezuela, was found not guilty yesterday of possession of cocaine with intent to supply to others and with illegally importing the drug into the State.
Judge A.G. Murphy, in Cork Circuit Criminal Court, directed the jury to acquit the woman following legal argument over the past two weeks.
