Plastic pipe maker Wavin forecast 2006 sales at around €1.5 billion today, an increase of 12 to 13 per cent from the previous year.

"All regions are expected to show revenue improvement compared to last year. Market conditions across Europe are favourable," the company said.

Wavin, which listed in Amsterdam in October, forecast full-year earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation, excluding exceptional items, at €192 million to €197 million.
