US President Mr George W Bush has put the US on full wartime alert following today’s terrorist attacks.
He said the military have been placed on high-alert status.
US Navy vessels have reportedly been mobilised off the East coast of the US and US Airforce planes are patrolling over Washington.
US borders have been closed.
