The Labour Party candidate for Dublin South Central, Dr Pat Upton TD, has expressed anger at the description of him in a profile of the constituency in The Irish Times as an "interloper from Clare".
He said he had lived in Dublin for more than 30 years and had served the city as a councillor, senator and TD.
