The contestant who lost out on a possible £125,000 on the quiz show Who Wants to be a Millionaire?over his answer to a disputed medical question is to reappear on the show this week.

Mr Shane O'Doherty today accepted an offer to reinstate him into the quiz at the same stage, as if his answer to the location of the lunula in the human body had been accepted.

The offer was made by show's producers, Tyrone Productions, last week. They have continued to defend their answer to the question, "Where in the human body is the lunula located?" was "fingernail" and not "heart", as Mr O'Doherty said.

Mr O'Doherty's reappearance will be filmed on Friday when he will be given the chance to attempt the £250,000 question or walk away with £125,000. The show will be broadcast on RTÉ 1 on Sunday at 8 p.m.
