Minister for Small Business John Perry has confirmed that he has reached an agreement with Danske Bank over an unpaid €2.47 million bank debt.

Danske secured judgment against Mr Perry and his wife Marie for €2.47 million in the Commercial Court in July.

The details of the agreement between Mr. Perry and his wife and the Bank are confidential.

In a statement this evening, Mr Perry confirmed that all his tax affairs have been and remain up to date.

The Minister said he would make no further comment on the matter.
