Police in Belfast are investigating a petrol bomb attack on a house in the north of the city last night.

Police in Belfast are investigating a petrol bomb attack on a house in the north of the city last night.

A Police Service of Northern Ireland spokeswoman said the device was thrown through a window in the front of a house in the Crumlin Road at Lower Ballysillan at about 11.00 p.m.

A man in the house managed to put out the fire before the fire brigade arrived.

There were a number of people in the house at the time of the attack, but no one was injured.
