Islamabad - Pakistan, which has often been criticised over its use of child labour, said yesterday it would ratify an international convention this year on elimination of the worst forms of child labour.

"We will ratify the ILO (International Labour Organisation) convention on the worst forms of child labour in this calendar year," the Foreign Minister, Mr Sartaj Aziz, told a seminar on the protection of rights of children.
