PARIS - Police in Calais are broadening a paedophilia inquiry area after they arrested nine members of the same family, suspected of sexually assaulting up to 23 of their children, grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
Men and women from the Regnier family, ranging in age from 32 to 60, were taken to jails in northern France at the weekend after seven children were taken into care.
