PARIS - French authorities yesterday approved the building of a huge road bridge whose tallest support will be higher than the Eiffel Tower. The tallest of its seven pillars will be 1,060 feet high, some 99 feet higher than the top of the Eiffel Tower, according to Equipment and Transport Ministry officials.
