Nice - French police said yesterday that a naked corpse on the southern French coast was that of an Italian countess who disappeared last month.
The body of Countess Francesca Vacca Agusta, known for her role in Italy's bribery scandals of the early 1990s, was identified by her brother, Mr Domenico Graffagni, after it was found last week in a coastal inlet near Toulon.
