Police in Belfast have launched a murder inquiry after a man was stabbed at a flat in the Rathcoole area of the city last night.

The 47-year-old victim, is understood to have suffered at least one wound.  Police believe he may have died as the result of a domestic row.

A police spokeswoman said they were treating the death as murder following the results of a post mortem examination.
