Leicester - Women expecting millennium babies at two hospitals have been told to bring torches with them, it emerged today

Leicester - Women expecting millennium babies at two hospitals have been told to bring torches with them, it emerged today. The mothers-to-be have been warned that if there was a power failure they may need to find their own way around the building.

Letters have been sent to those due to have their babies delivered at the Leicester General Hospital or St Mary's Hospital Maternity Unit at Melton Mowbray.
