A Co Meath man (23) has been killed in a car crash in Australia.
The man was a passenger in a car that crashed into a tree on Bennett Street in East Perth early yesterday morning.
He was taken to Royal Perth Hospital in a serious condition but died on arrival.
The woman driver is in a stable condition in hospital with head injuries and suspected spinal damage.
Two male rear seat passengers suffered minor head and neck injuries.
All three are in their 20s and are also believed to be Irish. Their injuries are not understood to be life-threatening.
