Gardaí are investigating a shooting in Limerick last night in which a man sustained a gunshot wound to his arm.
It is understood the incident happened outside a house on the Lee Estate on Island Road in the north of the city shortly after 1am.
The man (26) was taken to Limerick Regional Hospital for treatment, but his condition is not life-threatening.
