Man injured in Belfast shooting

A 26-year-old man was shot in a paramilitary-style attack in west Belfast last night.

A 26-year-old man was shot in a paramilitary-style attack in west Belfast last night.

Four men broke into a flat in the Juniper Park area of Dunmurry shortly before 8.30pm and shot the man in the left thigh.

The victim was taken to hospital but his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

A 28-year-old woman was in the flat at the time but was not injured.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police in Lisburn.
