Man held over Belfast stabbing

A 26-year-old man has been arrested following a stabbing in Belfast early this morning.

A 26-year-old man has been arrested following a stabbing in Belfast early this morning.

The attack happened on shortly before 1.15am on Clondara Street when a 28-year-old man was stabbed repeatedly.

A police spokeswoman said the victim suffered three puncture wounds to the chest and one to the head.

The 26-year-old man was arrested a short time later in the Brick Crescent area.
