Liverpool have signed Carl Medjani, an 18-year-old central defender from St Etienne, on a free transfer.
Medjani joined fellow new signings Harry Kewell, Steve Finnan, Anthony Le Tallec and Florent-Sinama Pongolle at Anfield tonight for a training session in front of the Official Liverpool Supporters Club as part of the Fans Day.
Arsenal, Bayern Munich and Manchester United were all reportedly interested in Medjani.
