Two goals in the first nine minutes ensured Lazio eased through a potentially troublesome away leg against Besiktas and into the semi-finals of the UEFA Cup with a 3-1 aggregate win.
Travelling to Turkey with a 1-0 advantage, the Roman side doubled their aggregate lead after just five minutes when Stefano Fiore carved open the Besiktas defence.
The second came when Fiore crossed for the unmarked Lucas Castroman to head home.
Besiktas scored a late consolation through Sergen Yalcin but their early errors proved too much to overcome.
Vanderlei Derlei scored twice to pave Porto's path into the last four at the expense of Panathinaikos.
Trailing to an away goal, the Portuguese side travelled to Greece at a disadvantage which was wiped out by Derlei's 16th-minute opener.
That took the game into extra-time where a second from the Brazilian secured the win for the men from the Douro.
