Rome - A nun in East Timor, contacted by a Vatican news agency, pleaded for help from the outside world yesterday. "When the men from the United Nations leave, they are going to kill us all," said Sister Esmeralda de Araujo. "It is hell here and I want to cry out to everyone to save us but nobody seems to be listening."
"We know the militias will keep their promise. It will mean condemning innocent people to death. Who will be responsible for our deaths?" she added.
