Gardaí are investigating a fatal crash involving a motorcyclist in his 50s on the M50 close to the Port Tunnel.
The single vehicle crash happened shortly after 10am on Monday close to the north bore of the tunnel.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. His body has been removed from the scene and a postmortem examination will take place at Dublin City Morgue.

The road at the scene of the crash has now re-opened following an examination of the area by Garda forensic collision investigators.
