Deceased found in sheltered accommodation at St Patrick’s Hostel for homeless men

Gardaí do not suspect foul play in the death of a man whose body was discovered on Saturday, May 23rd, in Limerick.

The body of a man has been found in Limerick city.

The deceased was discovered on Saturday morning in sheltered accommodation at St Patrick’s Hostel for homeless men on Clare Street.

The body of the man, aged in his early 30s, was discovered at about 11.30am.

It’s understood he died of a drug overdose.

Gardaí at Henry Street were called to the scene shortly before midday.

A Garda spokesperson said they do not suspect foul play.
