Tehran - Iran yesterday dismissed the Middle East summit in the Egyptian resort of Sharm al-Sheikh as a "fiasco" that "did not produce any tangible results."

Iran's defence minister said oil could be used to bring international pressure to help the Palestinians. Admiral Ali Shamkhani said oil-producing nations could secure "concrete results" to defend the Palestinians.
