Three more deaths of patients with Covid-19 reported in NI

Further 632 positive cases of virus recorded in the previous 24-hour period

The deaths of a further three patients who had previously tested positive for Covid-19 have been reported in Northern Ireland.

The Department of Health has also notified another 632 positive cases of the virus in the previous 24-hour period.

On Monday morning, there were 438 Covid-positive patients in hospital in Northern Ireland, of whom three are in intensive care.

In the Republic, there have been another 1,715 positive cases of Covid-19 confirmed by PCR testing.

In addition, a further 2,049 people registered a positive antigen test through the HSE portal.

On Saturday April 9, 5,277 Covid-19 cases were recorded in Ireland.

As of 8am on Monday, there were 1,081 Covid-19 patients in hospital in the Republic, with 55 in intensive care.
