Do you take regular exercise?

Yes. You'd think I'd get enough sport in my life with work but I'm a fanatic at heart!

What's your workout?

I train and play soccer with Terenure College in the Leinster Senior League. It's a very competitive level so training and matches can be very intensive. I train twice a week and play a game every Sunday. I'm also a member of Crunch fitness in UCD.

Would you consider yourself fit?

I'm getting there. A few more nights running around the soccer pitch should sort me out, I hope.

Do you worry about your appearance?

Not really but because of my line of work I have to make the effort. Being on air means I have to look after myself. Failing that though, the girls in the TV3 make-up department are the best.

Would you ever consider cosmetic surgery?

No, I can't even bring myself to watch Nip/Tuck.

Do you eat a balanced diet?

I do my best though and try to stay away from the unhealthy stuff, most of the time.

Patricia Weston recommends:

Lie on the floor on your back with your knees bent over the ball and your arms by your side. Slowly breathe in as you peel your back up off the floor. Hold this position for 10 seconds and slowly return to the floor. Repeat six times.

In the same position but with your lower back pressed into the floor, place your hands on your thighs and slowly raise your torso up over your knees, keeping your chin off your chest. Repeat for three sets of eight to 10 counts.

With your abs on the ball, lie face down with your hands on the ground. Lift your shoulders and upper back up and slowly return. Do this 10 times for two sets.
