Vienna - Support for the Austrian far-right Freedom Party has dropped significantly since it gained a major role in a coalition government at the start of the year, a new poll confirmed yesterday.
The party's support dropped to 19 per cent in December, compared to about one-third of the electorate when it entered government with the conservative People's Party in February, according to Austria's OGM institute.
