Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to a fatal crash on the M7 just outside Portlaoise last Monday.
The four-car collision occurred on the southbound carriageway near Meelick just before 1pm.
Josephine Poole (58) from Portarlington, the sole occupant of one of the cars, was killed.
Five other people from the other three vehicles were taken to Portlaoise General Hospital where they were treated for minor injuries.
