Gardaí are investigating an armed raid on a licensed premises in Co Westmeath last night.
It is understood two men armed with a bat and a handgun entered the premises at Rathconrath, near Mullingar shortly after midnight.
They tied up the people on the premises before making a getaway with a sum of money.
Gardaí say nobody was injured in the raid.
